Accounting & Bookkeeping

Transactions get recorded eventually, but nobody closes the month or reconciles the accounts, so by the time anyone reads a number it describes a quarter that already happened. With monthly accounting, a CPA keeps the books current and ties the accounts to real statements each month.

CFO & Controller Services

There is a stage where bookkeeping alone stops being enough. The books are accurate, but nobody is using them to answer the questions that matter: whether the margins hold, whether payroll clears in ninety days, whether this is the year to hire. That is the work of a controller or CFO, handled here without adding one to payroll. It can also cover a single decision, such as an entity change, a hire or an equipment purchase, worked through with your books before you commit.

Business Tax Returns

A business return is only as good as the records behind it. When one person keeps the books and another files the return, most of the work is reconciliation before anything is filed, and questions that should have been asked in October get asked in March. Here the same CPA keeps the books and prepares the return.

Plenty of personal returns are simple, and software handles those fine.
